Your guess is as good as mine.

I started my new job today.  Sorry for the sporadic updates, I've been really busy.

Road Closed, I love you.

A train passed by as I had lunch at Subway today.

Just so we're clear, red is bad-- and it was scrolling so fast I couldn't read it.  Ram or motherboard is shot in my linux storage server.  I think it took a surge over the weekend.

As an update to yesterday, one of the two sticks of ram in my linux box died.  I pulled it and I'm back up and running.

Fat and happy toad.

This was actually in the very early morning of the 28th.  I woke up at 4:40am to get a shot of the total lunar eclipse.  This shot was a few minutes before the moon disappeared.  My longest zoom is only 135mm right now, so I couldn't get very close.  Another problem I didn't anticipate was that the moon is moving quite a bit.  Shots of even 4 seconds exhibited linear motion blur.  The next lunar eclipse visible from Wisconsin is February 21st of next year.  Expect a better shot next time!

Two medium eggs cooked on low heat, yokes broken when half cooked.  Diced onion and cubed turkey hotdog (ham substitute) pan fried with Pam.  Add the toppings and a little parmesan cheese.  Yum!

I really wanted to hit 400 miles on one tank, but my fuel light was getting pretty bright.  I could have made it easily, but I thought it would be wasteful to drive past the gas station for the sake of using three more miles worth of gas.  I'll get it next road trip.

The Thai Pavilion at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, WI.
