This was actually in the very early morning of the 28th.  I woke up at 4:40am to get a shot of the total lunar eclipse.  This shot was a few minutes before the moon disappeared.  My longest zoom is only 135mm right now, so I couldn't get very close.  Another problem I didn't anticipate was that the moon is moving quite a bit.  Shots of even 4 seconds exhibited linear motion blur.  The next lunar eclipse visible from Wisconsin is February 21st of next year.  Expect a better shot next time!
