We had chayote for dinner.  I'd describe it as a pear, except as a vegetable instead of a fruit.

UFOs?  I'm guessing paper lanterns.  Unfortunately, I only had my cell phone on me.  The lights were a fiery orange which didn't show up in the picture.  It was a neat thing to see.
