Along the bike trail from the gym back home.
My nephew Ben loves to watch the road construction. I'm not a big fan myself.
Fresh from Newegg in its unopened box, there is a hole in my processor.
Thanks to my Great-Aunt and Uncle my bedroom is looking a bit less spartan. Thanks Marge and Bill!
A bonus from the bedroom furniture is this Magavox 1P3632 Stereo. There is no manufacture date printed on the back, but a google search dated it to the early 1970's. It connects to the internet nicely.
We had a quakefest in Anthony's fun-room. Steve was getting really into it.
Onsokumaru was always the biggest, fastest and most active of my toads. Now that he's the only one left, he is extremely lethargic. It is an ordeal to even get him to eat. Fortunately he did eventually eat one of the worms pictured here.
Following some advice I read on various toad forums on the internet, I've decided to force-feed Onsokumaru. He was very unhappy with this arrangement, but did swallow two waxworms. Hopefully a few days of this will get his strength up and I won't need to do it anymore. The picture here was taken after the feeding. It is a 10 second exposure in very low light at ISO 1600. You can see his eye fully dilated.
Onsokumaru's left eye has been giving him trouble for a while now. Since I'm force-feeding him now, I used the opportunity to take a close-up of his eye. It's not looking too good.
Here's an interesting thing about crickets you probably didn't know. They LOVE raisins.
