We had a huge snowfall today.  Getting pulled on a sled looks to be the way to go.

I helped Megan move into her new place today.

I couldn't move my car as it was, then the snowplow finally came through.  This snow was as hard as sandstone.

The picnic table at work.

Flags are at half-staff for Pearl Harbor Day.

I used an Ubuntu liveCD to rsync over a backup of my iPhoto Library to the second drive on my XP machine.  I also tried out F-Spot as a replacement for iPhoto.  It is not as powerful, but it organizes files on the disk much better.  I'm frustrated with the print quality I get on my HP Photo printer under OS X.  It works great under linux and XP.  I'm transitioning to XP for my photo work.  I'm going to have to break down and buy Photoshop and Lightroom for XP.

The UW Hospital cafeteria skylight after a snowfall.

Icicle infront of an LCD.  Don't try this at home.

Old staircase on the UW campus.

LED Sunrise.

Polarized light passing through a cat-5 connector.

Icy fire-alarm bell.

The mail server crashed over vacation.  I came in this morning to fix it.  That light is bad.

Merry Christmas.  This is my toad exploring his new log.

I made "bread" with my new bread maker.  I must have done something very wrong.  It was horrible.  ;)  I'm guessing I had the water temperature wrong, as that was the only thing I couldn't measure.  I'll get it right next time.

We got a coating of sticky snow overnight.  All the trees were white on my drive into work.

My office building was burglarized overnight.  They hit almost every office suite in the building.  The thieves stole a bunch of computers from my office and my supervisor's iPod.  I think I'll sign up for that Geico renter's insurance they keep offering for my apartment.  'Tis the season.

My second loaf of bread came out great!

Toad in a log.
