A nice night time shot while traveling somewhere in the Eastern Kingdoms.

Palm trees down by the bay.

The jungles of Stranglethorn Vale.

A sleepy little cat.

My first day in Hawaii!  I loved the way the light filters through the trees.

On my first whole day in Hawaii, I went to the Honolulu Zoo.  I had long wanted to visit because it is one of a handful of zoos in the US that hosts a Surinam Toad.  I took a picture of it, but few would find it as cute as this monkey.

This was taken on the Dole Plantation in Hawaii.  For over 100 years pineapples have been a major export of Hawaii, but the last plantation is halting production in 2008.  It seems a waste to me that such fertile lands are bare due only to cheaper labor elsewhere.

The exposed gun platform of the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor.  You can see the oil which still bubbles up 65 years after the Arizona sank.

Nine years after taking the six hand held photos that make up what you see here, panorama software is finally good enough to stitch them together.

I saw many rainbows in Hawaii.  The light sprinkles of rain that fall periodically each day are surely the source. This is a shot of Waikiki Beach, and Diamondhead Mountain.

Spam, egg, and cheese McGrittle in Hawaii.  Delicious!  Also the first time I've ever eaten spam.

The dinner after my sister's wedding rehearsal.

Back in Wisconsin, all set with our tuxes on my big sister's wedding day! Congratulations Beth and Josh.

My Grandpa and me before I head back to Japan.

Somewhere over the mountains of Siberia.

Back to business as usual.  The temperature was only a bit warmer than Wisconsin, but Japan's summer humidity has already kicked in.

English club party today.

I had a Spam McGrittle in Hawaii, and you know what?  It was really good.  I happened to see Spam in the store today, but for $5 a can, I'll pass.

This is from humidity, not rain.  Every surface is covered in a film of water.

A couple of bugs wanting to join me in my apartment.  Sorry guys, invitation only.

Disclaimer: Not my desk.

"Unicorn" is a popular English textbook in Japan.  I changed something in the picture, can you tell what?

I had to work today.  Yep Saturday.  There was a special "parents' day."  Even though it was on a Saturday, no fathers came.

I went beach scouting today.  The famous Kujuukuri beach stretches all along the coast of Chiba Prefecture.  This picture was taken somewhere around Hasunuma village.
