Today is the first day of December, and also our first decent snowfall of the year.  Driving was a bit slow this morning, but I luckily received my parking garage permit for work a few days ago.  So I didn't have too far to walk in the snow.

Myris, Navyrain, and myself went to the Takara restaurant in Madison for some sushi.  It was over double the price you'd pay in Japan, but as Myris pointed out, Wisconsin is a long way for any oceans.  The quality was         excellent.

Onsokumaru has been standing guard over the toad realm.  Both Chiis have burrowed into the soil for winter.

Frozen Wisconsin.

The pollution from the coal plant looks amazing in the morning.

Mornings are always great for photos.

I'm going to need a new belt notch after this...

This was at about 7:30 in the morning.  The sunrise was illuminating the mist flowing over the water.  I'm not sure why these ducks are still in Wisconsin.

Bender!

The Christmas lights are going up!

This is the building I work in.  I shot this photo from the top of the main hospital building.

We had a Pot Luck today.  I made my Grandma's "Five Cup Salad" with the assistance of my Mom.

There was a whole in the otherwise completely overcast sky this evening.  It looked like some kind of dimensional vortex.

Taco night as usual.  As we did last week, we decided to hit up not only Tacos, but Pizza, Doughnuts, and McDonalds.  I don't know what inspires this chaos, but I only partook in Tacos and a doughnut.  I'm glad I only ate at two of the stops, as everyone that did all four mumbled things like "oooh, my stomach" for the rest of the night.

Mike's cat likes to chew on things.  I use this habit to occasionally brush her teeth.

Georgia again.  She's perched on the windowsill longingly staring at my toad tank.  I've told Mike that if his cat eats my toad, I'm eating his cat.

Santa!

I went out to take some pics today.  We really should have some snow by now.  It's been a very mild winter.

The sun actually sets in the opposite direction to this evening glow.  The illumination is caused by the UW greenhouses nearby.

The great thing about the holiday season is that one can subsist on treats provided by coworkers.

Here I am at Taco Johns with Bee, Marcus, and JJ.

Whoa, foggy day.  Myris and I both had the day off today, so we met at around 10am for weight lifting.

This is a picture I took to show my friend the cool harddrive heatsink I bought.  I'm going to be getting three more to fill up the front of the case.  I think it's really slick, but you have to be a geek to appreciate this kinda thing.

Christmas Eve at St. Luke's with my parents.  Just like last year.

Christmas day.  Aren't my folks a cute couple.

This is a cellphone pic of one of my toads.  Can you believe my cellphone from Japan has optional manual focus?  It does.

I love this picture.  I think I'll have it printed.

I saw a car with a sweet license plate and bumper-stickers such as "I read your email."  When I got home I told my roommate Bender about it, and he said he works with the guy who owns that car at his job!  Small world.

I missed Taco night on Thursday because I was feeling crappy, so I met up with everybody tonight.  This is an action shot of Mitchlock scoring a finger-football field-goal.  After the score, two of us at the table called out "Four Points!" while the remaining two people laughed.  Apparently that is not the value of a field-goal.

Myris and Navyrain got some new pets for their huge fishtank.  They have a 100 gallon or there-abouts, but it only contained 2 small fish and a toad.  So they bought some more fish and two Dwarf African Clawed Frogs.

New Year's Eve Party!  80's theme.
